2024 Attractions
COMPETITIONS
There will not be any competitions this year other than the dog show. This was a very difficult decision to make. The decision was made due to lack of entries, costs and resource. We will consider again for 2026 and we welcome any feedback or help that you can give.
THE GARAGE
Showcasing a vehicle collection over the last 100 years. Great British, European and American marques from the village. If you would like to display your vehicle, please contact Darren on darrenwellbelove@mail.com as no entries can be accepted on the day.
STALLS
Over 40 stalls offering high quality local craft, entertainment and local information. Why not treat yourself to something a little bit different and not available in the high street.
CHILDREN & FAMILY FUN ACTIVITIES
Chanctonbury Leisure Centre will be hosting some exciting sports and fun activities for all the family to try, such as archery, netball, football, badminton, fencing, tri-golf, short tennis and so much more.
SPORTS FOR ALL
Test your skills, have a go at Croquet, Football, Cricket or Tennis.
PUNCH & JUDY SHOW
Mr. Punch has been around England for over three hundred and fifty years and is still great entertainment. This show is traditional, interactive, fun and lets children know that hitting people is wrong.
MAGIC SHOW
Jonathan Cann will work magic with balloons and perform the most amazing and awe-inspiring magic tricks to keep you mesmerised. As they say, Seeing is Believing.
WEST CHILTINGTON SILVER BAND
West Chiltington Silver Band were founded in 1908 and helped lead the very first procession through the village in 1919.
KAYLA & THE CARDS
A local band playing up beat chart hits from the 80’s & 90’s. “Let’s get the party started!”
LADIES THAT BOOGIE
Ladies that Boogie are a pop choir, with a fabulous repertoire spanning over 50 years. They are lively, inspire their audiences and are a firm favourite at the show.
JOE BUTT
Joe is a well know local musician who not only covers other writer’s music but writes and performs his own.
EATING AND DRINKING
What afternoon would be complete without premium hot drinks and delicious cakes from the WI? Alternatively, treat yourself to a premium G&T by Arundel Gin for those seeking something a little stronger. If you are a bit peckish then there will be a fabulous BBQ by the Cricket Pavillion, where the bar will be open for a tipple or two. There will also be a wide variety of outlets selling hot and cold food and drink aswell as snacks and sweet treats. Knight’s ice cream van will of course be there as always!
